Macro Digest: It's the weather stupid..... or is it?

Good Friday,

 

Writing my outlook for rest of 2014 and of course one of the issues to account for is the "weather" – the latest Beige report mentioned weather more than 100x! so… what is reality?

 

Hint: My report will conclude: The weather may improve but not the economy. The damage done to the US and global economy is cyclical not weather related. If anything the higher energy and food bill in the US will reduce consumer spending and I am sorry to say used spending on energy and food consumed does NOT come back …
